The development and management of digital resources of knowledge, commonly known as digitalisation, was the subject of the conference "Digital Museums in Pomerania." The Colonial Warehouse has now been closed to visitors. It used to be one of the premises of the Polish Maritime Museum, located by the already renovated Crane. Soon the demolition work will begin on the former heating plant which in the 1970s was adapted for the museum.

On 27 September 1785 a strong storm sank a British sailboat carrying iron near Dębki, a fishing village. A message about the sunken ship survived in the local fishermen’s stories. The memories revived whenever yet another net was destroyed by something lying on the sea bottom.
