Opening hours in other time periods

In the Granaries the last tickets are sold 60 minutes before museum closing.

Ferry "Motława" travels between the Crane and the Granaries (from Wednesday to Sunday) every 15 minutes (except the course at 12.45). First course at 10.00 (Wednesday 13.00), last at 16.00.

How to get to

Getting to the Granaries

  • You can get there using buses and trams going to the Akademia Muzyczna stop - see ZTM website, more detailed route on Google Maps (900 m, 11 minutes)

  • If you chose SKM train: leave at the Gdańsk Główny station, from there head to the Crane and the Maritime Culture Centre - more detailed route on Google Maps (1200 m, 15 minutes) or by the footbridge to Ołowianka Island - more detailed route on Google Maps (1900 m, 23 minutes); if you travel by bus - line 100 stops directly in front of the Maritime Culture Centre - see ee ZTM website, then take ferry "Motława" to the marina next to the Granaries

  • If you travel by car: get to the road junction (the intersection of the streets: Długie Ogrody, Siennicka, Elbląska and Podwale Przedmiejskie, near Brama Żuławska and speedway stadium) - drive the Długie Ogrody street, then right through Szafarnia street along Nowa Motława river, turn left over Most Kamieniarski towards Ołowianka street - more detailed route on Google Maps.

Parking spaces

  • 10 parking spaces for bikes: by the entrance to the Museum

  • No free parking space for cars and coaches. At the Museum only paid parking places.

  • Exhibitions on 4 floors
  • Average tour duration: 2 hours
  • The maximum number of persons allowed in the Granaries on Ołowianka Island – 270
  • All visitors must cover their mouth and nose using a mask

Information for people with disabilities

  • Exhibitions accessible for wheelchair users (with the exception of the ground floor)
  • A lift adapted for persons with reduced mobility and visually impaired
  • Toilets for wheelchair users (ground floor)

Taking pictures of the exhibitions

  • Only taking pictures and amateur videos (without flash and tripod) for personal use is permitted (with the exception of the Maritime Gallery). Professional photography and filming require the permission of the Director of the Museum
